ABOUT THE F.E.A.T of Southern Vegas – A GAMES
Action Sports events modified for all kids on the spectrum and abilities! NEW this year – Carnival games, bounce house town, petting zoo, food, music and fun for the entire family!
The F.E.AT. of Southern Vegas – “A Games” is an action sports for children on the autism spectrum. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in two of eight events. Festivities will include a DJ, music, silent auction, kid zone (bounce houses, dunk tank, face painter, balloon artists) food, award ceremony and much more!
The events are open to all children on the autism spectrum between the ages of 3-17. This event is for any kid on the autism spectrum no matter the degree of disability! We will have spotters, coaches and volunteers to help and assist those kids needing extra support! Kids will pick 2 events which will be modified for each child’s individual abilities ensuring participation is appropriate for all those on the spectrum.
Siblings/buddy may also compete in one event. The event they choose must be one of the events the child with autism is participating in.
The day will be amazing! All participants will receive a participation medal – EVERYONE IS A WINNER! We will also have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for those that place. In addition, we will have music, food, swag bag for each of the kids participating and BEST of ALL…we are honored to have TJ Lavin, X-Games gold medalist and also the host of the MTV show “The Challenge” join us once again this year!
Participation is free! We rely on sponsors and donations to make this event successful and possible for your child to participate! Your child will receive a swag bag, event t-shirt and a participation medal. If you raise more money you will win cool prizes! Please share your fundraising page with friends and family and help FEAT build a successful event.
It’s going to be AWESOME!
