DUNK Distracted Driving tours to Ohio!
A.G.A. Nation’s DUNK Distracted Driving basketball campaign hits the road this August, delivering interactive, educational and entertaining assemblies to 10 high schools in the Houston area. This unique program will deliver athletic style competitions and adrenaline pumping assemblies throughout the month courtesy of Ohio Army National Guard.
A.G.A. Nation is also excited to announce Ohio SADD (www.sadd.org/ohio) will be joining the tour. As part of collaboration, one student from each school will have the chance to win a $100 gift card, courtesy of SADD. SADD empowers and mobilizes students and adult allies to engage in positive change through leadership and smart decisions-promoting student collaboration to create a healthier and safer world, one positive decision at a time.
DUNK Distracted Driving ™ combines high energy basketball action with an inspirational and educational message on ways to reduce distracted driving among teenagers. DUNK assemblies feature student interactive segments throughout the presentation on ways to reduce distracted driving for all
Also on the morning of Wednesday, November 15th, Perry High SchoolP students will be joined by students from Allen East, Bath, Lima Senior, Delphos, Delphos St. John’s, and Lima Central Catholic High Schools. In addition to the high-flying basketball action, students will then have the opportunity to visit resource and first-responders tables to learn more about the many aspects of auto crashes and prevention. Allen County boasts the largest number of SADD groups in Ohio.
