 GAME ON CHAMPIONS!

 Lancaster Catholic Central captures Rocket League Championship!; Lampeter Strasburg outlasts William Penn High School in Super Smash Bros

After two competitive weeks of Super Smash Bros and Rocket League esports play, the Pennsylvania Game On™ tournament saw Lancaster Catholic dominate Jim Thorpe HS in a best of 5, winning 3 games to 0.  In Super Smash Bros play, Lampeter Strasburg’s Jackson Brazzle took the title 3 games to 2.  A total of eleven (11) Pennsylvania area high schools were invited to compete for cash and prizes.  Total prize for LCC was $750 while Jim Thorpe as runner up received $300 in gift cards.  Pine Grove HS, which finished 3rd, received $150.   Brazzle, as Game On champ for Super Smash Bros, received $250 while runner up KP Tiny from William Penn took home $100.

For the past two weeks over 160 matches have taken place leading up to Friday’s final matches.  Throughout select matches were streamed three days a week that also featured a special video message from Pennsylvania’s Premier Youth Health & Safety Organization, PA DUI within each presentation. Sports entertainment company A.G.A. Nation  in conjunction with LeagueSpot, produced Game On™ tournament exclusive to Pennsylvania invited high schools.

High schools participating include: Hempfield High School, Steel Valley High School, Lancaster Catholic, William Penn High, Pine Grove High School, Lampeter Strasburg, Albert Gallatin, Cambria Senor Heights,  Wilson High School and  Hazelton High School.
