Ron Thomas, founder and owner of Rise Above Entertainment will remain as owner of Rise Above, while Dan Sieg, longtime BMX rider and manager with Rise Above will now take over many of Thomas’s day to day responsibilities. The merger allows Thomas to take an equity stake with AGA Nation to expand its current agency offerings. It also allows the new AGA Nation to leverage the many marketing opportunities possible with Rise Above’s core business of mobile action sports shows. AGA Nation will now have unequaled mobile event capacity as well as exclusive sponsorship rights to over 700 action sports events each year across the US.AGA Nation’s core focus of events, sponsorship, digital media, venue/property and social media support will now expand into a turn-key action sports agency. AGA Nation will also participate in community and cause based programs through its non-profit division Action Sports Assembly Programs (A.S.A.P.).With its combined resources AGA Nation will create innovative and organic corporate partnerships that meet the following goals;-Seamlessly blend marketing and action sports in captivating ways-expand current action sports markets-produce signature events and campaigns in under served markets-produce original action sports based content-coordinate symbiotic athlete and event endorsements-offer unique event activation initiatives.
