28 May Glik’s, NEFF to sponsor winner prizes for all summer events!
Glik’s, with 14 store locations in Michigan along with the popular action sports brand, NEFF have joined on as sponsors of the McDonald’s Adrenaline Games 2012 campaign. Gliks.com is the online home for the hottest styles and trends including the lastest from NEFF.
One of the bigger prize packed summer events takes place in Grand Haven, Saturday, June 23. In addition to the AGA Cup cash prize and State Games Gold Medal, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will also receive some great prizes from NEFF and Glik’s. The fourth annual event is held at 1 Y Drive in Grand Haven, home of the most popular skate parks in the Midwest, Grand Haven Skate Park, next to Mulligans Hollow.
Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. For $10 entry fee, each athlete will receive a commemorative t-shirt from as well as the chance to win a gas card (must be 16 and a registered user of AGANATION.COM) from America’s NAVY! AGA TV will be on hand including two (2) DJ’s, local filmers and more!
Past AGA Cup skate winners include Jon ‘Deezle’ Depoian (Skate Advance, 2009); Ted Seeley (Skate Advance, 2010) Jake Keenan (Skate Advance 2011). From the BMX side, Ben Fisher from Grand Haven (2009, 2010) and Malcolm Forbes (2011) have their names forever engraved on the ‘Cup. Two divisions for both Skateboard and BMX, advance and intermediate.
The annual McDonald’s AGA Cup Skateboard/BMX Championship is one of 31 sanctioned sports held in West Michigan. The fun all starts, Friday, June 22nd, when the State Games of Michigan Opening Ceremonies take place at East Kentwood High School.
