AGA ‘ACTION SPORTS SUMMER’

Top action sports athletes in Skateboard, BMX and Wakeboard headline top AGA cash competition for $10,000 throughout the Midwest
Metro Detroit – Action sports entertainment company, Adrenaline Games Alliance (AGA), announced its ‘AGA Action Sports Summer’ schedule. The season promises the Midwest’s top action sports athletes competing for cash, points, and product leading off with the AGA Summer Skate Park Series 2010 opener, Saturday, May 15th in Metro Detroit.
Competitions feature AGA sanctioned judging (www.AGANATION.com) in various formats including best trick, stairs, and jam formats. Midwest AGA markets and venues include, Metro Detroit, Western and Northern Michigan as well as Indiana, Ohio and Iowa.
The AGA visits Grinnell, Iowa for the inaugural ‘Grinnell Games’ a statewide youth sports festival featuring skateboard competition, BMX demo team, and a FREE Learn to Skate Clinic, hosted by pro skateboarder, Garold Vallie.
“We are entering our third season of hosting action sports events” said Vallie, AGA partner, and former competitor on the X Games event circuit, “our goal is to provide new events for Midwest BMX, skate & wake boarders to showcase their skills and compete for the next level.”
All season long, top athletes can qualify for points, cash, and the chance to be crowned the 2010 AGA Cup champion, including a year end cash bonus in their respective sport. The AGA Cup, presented by the U.S. Navy, features a smashed energy drink can topped by a helmet.
Athletes also can compete for FREE, courtesy of Taco Bell locations in Michigan. Normal $10 AGA entry fee will be waived if participating action sports competitor visits a participating Taco Bell location and redeems their complimentary entry pass with purchase of Taco Bell combo meal #1-9.
