Quick update on AGA skateboard, BMX divisions along with events coming up in the next 2 weeks as shown below:
AGA Cup points system:
1st place is worth – 50 points per event
2nd place is worth – 25 points per event
3rd place is worth – 20 points per events
Each year end champ will receive name on AGA Cup, year end bonus in December and promoted in 2011 website, TV and print creative. Be sure to check out AGA Champions page http://www.aganation.com/?page_id=17 for past winners.

AGA SUMMER SKATE PARK SERIES 2010
AGA JR. JAM

Tevin Lee from St. Joe, MI is atop the AGA Jr. Jam/skateboard standings with 100 points (1st place @ TRP; Grand Haven), followed by Austin Ernst (1st @ Ludington), Steven Verdague (1st @ Ohio) with 50 points. Last AGA Jr. Jam comp is Friday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. in Romeo Michigan. Austin and Steven can still tie Tevin for AGA Jr. Jam 2010 crown with a 1st place win in Romeo.

AGA SKATEBOARD/ADVANCE

Patrick Rumney from NY is atop the advance division with 100 points (1st place in Ohio, Traverse City) followed by Kirby Metzger with 50 points (1st @ TRP); Ted Seeley (1st @ Grand Haven); Justin Pierson (1st @ Ludington). Last qualifier for the AGA Cup is Sunday, September 5 in a Highest Ollie Contest in a $500 winner take all competition. Kirby or Ted or Justin can tie Patrick with a 1st place win in Sept. 5 Ollie comp.

AGA BMX/ADVANCE

Ben Fisher (Grand Haven 1st, 3rd place in TC) and Cory Wiergowski (1st place in TC; 3rd place in Grand Haven) are tied in both cash and points (70 points). Brian Stewart is 2nd with 50 points (1st place, TRP). Nick Bullen has 40 points (2, 2nd place finishes). All four can still win the 2010 AGA Cup for BMX outright. Last AGA qualifier for the ‘Cup is Sunday, September 5th in the Baja Brawl/BMX Pond Jump. $1,000 1st place; $500 2nd place. (FYI…no small bikes will be allowed to compete, regular size only)
