McDonald’s ‘Michigan Made’ Action Sports Winter;
top snowboard, ski, snow X athletes take center stage
Metro Detroit – Action sports entertainment company, Adrenaline Games Alliance (AGA), along with the Huck Finn Series and Fun Promotions today announced the 2011 McDonald’s ‘Michigan Made’ campaign. Michigan’s top action sports winter athletes competing for bragging rights, cash, product, the AGA Cup and chance to go to USASA Nationals in Colorado.
The Huck Finn Series (boneheadx.com) features USASA championship certified judging for Slopestyle, Half pipe, Boarder cross, skier cross amateur qualifying events throughout the Midwest. Started in 2003 by founder and current Huck Finn director, Greg Flowers, the ‘Series is known as the place to qualify for the 2011 Copper Nationals in Copper Mtn, Colorado.
“I like to create a safe family environment for our competitors’, Flower said ‘and with a great organization like the USASA we will continue to grow and be a stepping stone for many great riders that can say that Huck Finn was my original series’.
Longtime action sports promoter Brent Walk, founding partner of Fun Promotions (funpromotions.com), whose popular Michigan Snow X Series returns as well.

February 26 – Michigan Snow X Series, Turtle Creek Casino, Traverse City
In addition, the AGA Cup Snowboard Championships, fueled by Vitaminwater action sports brand, ‘stur-D’, is up for grabs to the area’s top snowboarders, free ski athletes at Mt. Brighton, February 5. The ‘open’ division starts at 2:00 p.m. and athletes will have a chance to win $1,000 during a ‘Big Air’ competition.
